It only provides questions about Sentinel Events that are so basic, that no CJCP candidate, accreditation, patient safety, or quality improvement professional (e.g., PI/QI Directors, Joint Commission Survey Coordinators) should fail to answer correctly. However, we wanted to use it as the impetus for a further discussion of the new definition and the more challenging question of how you define ‘Severe Temporary Harm’. Please weigh in!
