This article provides a succinct but useful set of tips for ensuring acceptability of an ESC submission. For example: “It is not enough to say you revised a policy…or reeducated staff… describe the part of the policy that was changed (and) …what was included in the education. The article also suggests “an audit is usually insufficient” and suggests several other more effective approaches (e.g., manager rounds, tracers, ongoing monitoring).
