• PR: REVISED: “Human Resources” Chapter for Behavioral Health Care  [REF: BHC-HR, 2015] [Ftxt][®] Perspectives July 2014, Vol 34, #7, Pg 9 JCp1407_B3

Effective January 1, 2015, the HR chapter in the CAMBH will become the Human Resources Management (HRM) chapter. Unfortunately, although the pre-publication version of the new chapter contains the changes, it does not specifically identify/highlight them. However, this article contains a fair amount of detail and notes the following significant revisions:
• Re: HR.01.02.01 – language changed from ‘defining staff qualifications’ to developing ‘job descriptions’
• Re: HR.02.01.03 – simplified to address evaluation of information related to licensure/registration. Other former aspects related to assigning responsibilities have been relocated
• Re: HR.02.01.07 – EPS 1-3 obviated by new inclusiveness of HR.01.02.05 and will be deleted.
• Re: HR.01.02.05 – This standard is now applicable to temporary staff as well.
