*PR: – Joint Commission Simplifies Guest Access to Extranet[®] [REF:JCSC] Perspectives, March 2014, Vol 34, #3, Pg 10 JCp1403_B1 Guest access does not include access to an organization’s specific data or reports. It does, however, provide the ability to use key tools such as the Leading Practice Library, Core Measure Solution Exchange ad Standards BoosterPaks. Since 1/1/14, any employee with an e-mail address from a TJC accredited organization can sign themselves up for Guest Access. Just go to: http://jointcommissionconnect.org, and click on Guest Registration in the left-hand panel. Next, enter location info in the center pane to find your organization. Select it and click ‘Continue’. You will then arrive at the final registration page where you can enter your personal information; which must include your work e-mail address. Tip: Encourage treatment team members to obtain guest access so that they can take advantage of the tools referenced above and be better equipped to contribute to quality/performance improvement.
