The first suggestion is to utilize relevant stakeholders (e.g., medical, nursing, pharmacy staff) to clearly determine what services provided by your organization require informed consent. You might be surprised by the inconsistency of understanding staff have about this. Next, make sure your written policy for this meets the specification of EPs 2-6. Finally, train staff and evaluate compliance with the policy.
