For Hospitals, eight of the top ten compliance issues are carry overs from 2011. The top three (RC.01.01.01/61%, LS.02.01.20/52%, LS.02.01.10/47%) are exactly the same. The others have risen or fallen only slightly in their ranking. However, two new standards (EC.02.06.01/33%, EC.02.02.01/29%) have now entered the list at positions nine and ten.
For BHC, seven standards carry over. Three new standards enter their list at positions 3 (HR.01.02.05/15%), position 8 (CTS.02.01.05/13%) and position 10 (EC.02.01.05/13%)
Tip-HAP: Apparently surveyors are taking a closer look at your processes for managing hazardous materials/wastes (EC.02.02.01) and you should too.
Tip-BHC: Pay particular attention to the top two items (CTS.03.01.03/34% and HR.02.01.03/20%). They are the only ones cited in at least 1 in every 5 surveys.
