Fields & Associates, Inc. (F&A) is a consulting firm providing clinical, administrative and management support services to behavioral healthcare providers, agencies, authorities and systems through online and in-person consultation, education and training. The firm was established in 1996 by Richard A. Fields, M.D.  It specializes in optimizing quality of care, performance improvement, Joint Commission Accreditation, CMS Certification and Survey Readiness. F&A has a 100% success record for customers with CMS certification and TJC accreditation in multiple states across the country.  This has included experience in assisting hospitals to overcome Joint Commission Preliminary Denial of Accreditation/Conditional Accreditation and CMS Immediate Jeopardy.

Multi-Disciplinary Support

F&A has a diverse and robust pool of formally affiliated Associates in each of the major mental health disciplines, including psychiatry, psychology, nursing and social work. This pool of associates contains a rare cadre of behavioral healthcare professionals with formal training and experience as CARF, CMS and Joint Commission surveyors. They have helped hundreds of community and hospital organizations in dozens of states to prepare for and maintain accreditation and certification. F&A is located in Metro Atlanta (Georgia) but has associates based in many areas across the country. Of course, we are particularly proud of our Georgia Resource Persons.  All together, this unique group of dedicated, experienced and caring professionals, along with selected Preferred Providers, allow us to confidently provide effective support for a broad scope of behavioral health care needs.
